Our mission at BIG MAMA HOUSE is to provide safe and comfortable temporary housing for those experiencing homelessness in our community. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals and families can get back on their feet and work towards a brighter future.
We provide safe, clean, and secure emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Houston. Our facilities are designed to offer immediate protection and comfort during times of crisis.
Our Programs
Housing Program
Our housing program provides temporary shelter to homeless individuals and families. We offer a safe and supportive environment where guests can rest, eat, and connect with resources to help them find permanent housing.
Job Training
We believe that employment is key to breaking the cycle of homelessness. Our job training program offers guests the opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable work experience, increasing their chances of finding stable employment.
Mental Health Services
Many of our guests struggle with mental health issues, which can make it difficult for them to access the resources they need. Our mental health services provide counseling and support to help individuals overcome these challenges.
